The following guidance is provided for the additional enum options provided by DP338 in Standards v1.34.0 for the repaymentType and loanPurpose fields.
The updates were applied in:
- Get Product Detail v6
- Get Account Detail v4
Please refer to the endpoint version and associated FDO to determine when these fields are expected to be made available by Data Holders.
repaymentType
INTEREST_ONLY |
Interest-only repayments apply to the associated rate or account. |
PRINCIPAL_AND_INTEREST |
Principal and interest repayments apply to the associated rate or account. |
UNCONSTRAINED |
Either INTEREST_ONLY or PRINCIPAL_AND_INTEREST repayments can apply to the associated rate. This type is not expected to apply to instantiated accounts unless there are no specific constraints or restrictions on the application of repayments. |
OTHER |
An alternate repayment type applies to the associated rate or account. This option is mainly provided for future extensibility and the lendingRates additionalInfo field may be used to provide further detail. If participants identify common values developing in the ecosystem, they may be considered in future to become standardised options. |
loanPurpose
INVESTMENT |
The associated rate and comparisonRate (if present) apply to investment purposes including mortgages. Excludes owner-occupied mortgages. |
OWNER_OCCUPIED |
The associated rate and comparisonRate (if present) apply to owner-occupied mortgages. |
UNCONSTRAINED |
The associated rate and comparisonRate (if present) can apply to either INVESTMENT or OWNER_OCCUPIED loan purposes. This type is not expected to apply to instantiated accounts unless there are no specific constraints or restrictions on the loan purpose. |
OTHER |
The associated rate and comparisonRate (if present) apply to an alternate loan purpose. This option is mainly provided for future extensibility and the lendingRates additionalInfo field may be used to provide further detail. If participants identify common values developing in the ecosystem, they may be considered in future to become standardised options. |
