Question
As per ACCC guidelines on metadata cache management, the Data Holder (DH) fetches Accredited Data Recipient (ADR) information along with ADR Status and Software Product Status from the ACCC. Customer data is shared with the ADR depending on ADR and Software Product status.
Does the DH need to update any ADR metadata, retrieved through the Get DataRecipients API, in the Dynamic Client Registration repository?
Answer
The management of metadata is at the discretion of the participant and the DSB and ACCC do not provide specific guidance.
In general, however, any metadata received from the Registry should be seen as definitive and should be used when presenting consent and dashboard screens to the customer.
