Question

Should API calls, for which an error is returned, be considered in calculating the following metrics:

• Average response
• Invocation metrics
• Average TPS (Transactions Per Second)
• Peak TPS

Answer

Yes, error API calls and rejected API calls should be included in metrics for all the above reporting statistics.
