Question
If an Accredited Data Recipient (ADR) calls the Get Balances for Specific Accounts with an empty accountIds
array, should the Data Holder (DH) respond with an empty array, or with a 400 Bad Request error?
If the accountIds
is totally empty, a 400 Bad Request error should be returned since the field is mandatory, but what if the array is present, however no account
is provided?
Answer
The data standards aren't explicit on this point, consequently, the response is at the discretion of the DH. Both responses make sense.
If you think an explicit response such as a 400 Bad Request is desirable, please feel free to raise a change request.
