As part of Consumer Data Standards Version 1.17.0 included changes to Profile Scope.
To support the changes included as part of Decision Proposal 216 (DP216) the Data Standards Body facilitated a number of questions and answers during the Consumer Data Right Implementation Call on the 16th of December 2021. A number of clarifications were asked around profile and claims. Below are a number of those questions and answers from the Data Standards Body.
What happens if only profile is requested but no claims?
What happens if the DH doesn't support contact claims - do they still show the contact details data cluster in the authorisation flow?
Yes, the Data Holder still shows the contact details data cluster.
If an Accredited Data Recipient (ADR) expands the claims being requested in an amending consent request, do the ADR and DH note that to the consumer? The standards relating to DP216 do not require this, but the Consumer Experience Standards already recommend that ADRs and DHs provide additional information to the consumer where appropriate, to be worded at the Consumer Data Right participant's discretion:
Data Recipients and Data Holders SHOULD expand on the proposed language where appropriate to communicate further details of what is being shared. Additional details MAY include additional information in context, such as in-line help or tool tips, and/or additional permissions where they may exist.
