Rule 9.3 – Record keeping obligations and customer eligibility

Are the record keeping obligations under rule 9.3 affected by whether a customer leaves the data holder or otherwise becomes ineligible?

Answer

No. Rule 9.3(5) requires the records referred to in rule 9.3 to “be kept for a period of 6 years beginning on the day the record was created”, whether or not the records relate to a former customer or eligible CDR consumer.
