Question
The CX Guidelines provide wireframes for opting out of data sharing for joint accounts. Is there a wireframe for opting back in? Is there specific wording advice that can be provided, similar to the wording for opting out?
See CX, Joint Account Disclosure Option Management Service.
Answer
The Change to a less restrictive option flow demonstrates the 'opt-back-in' process. That flow lists the choice of pre-approval (termed 'single consent', which Data Holders are required to provide) and co-approval (termed 'joint consent', which is optional to implement).
Pre-approval is required, and co-approval is optional.
The Figma flow diagram below the Change to a less restrictive option heading demonstrates the process of going from a non-disclosure option to a pre-approval or co-approval option. That is, it demonstrates opting back into joint account sharing.
To opt back in, all joint account holders need to agree. The flow provides content related to this process, which would apply whether the user is changing to a pre-approval or co-approval option. It is not specific to the co-approval process.
