Overlap of Banking Product Detail V3 and Banking Product Detail V4

Question

The CDS Banking APIs endpoint version schedule for binding dates, when endpoints are to be introduced, and retirement dates, after which they should not be called and need not be supported.

The introduction date for Banking Product Detail V4 is 2022-11-31, 31st November

The retirement date for Banking Product Detail V3 is 2023-02-28, 28th February. 

The BankingProductDetailV4 schema has more features than the BankingProductDetailV3 schema.

During the three month period when these versions overlap. in the response to Get Product Detail, it may happen that one of the new product features is being used for V4 but not available for V3. What do we do when responding to a call to the V3 endpoint? 

Answer

The V3 response should omit the new product features, or represent them under another applicable product feature type supported in V3.
