Question
In CX Guidelines, Authorisations, Key requirements and guidelines, CX Guideline 11, states that Data Holders MAY organise authorisations using the brand and software product name of the ADR.
Is the name of the software product mandatory?
We show the ADR brand name for each consent, without the software product name. Do we meet the Consumer Data Standards CX compliance requirements?
Answer
This is a CX Guideline . There is no requirement to display details about the software product to the consumer during authentication, authorisation, or in Data Holder dashboards.
However, the CX Guidelines do suggest the software product name be displayed for transparency, traceability, and to aid authorisation management.
