Purpose of DIGITAL_WALLET type

What is the purpose of the DIGITAL_WALLET value in enumerated values for BankingPayeeV2 type and and Product Feature type?

Answer

The DIGITAL_WALLET type represents a wallet that holds value, rather than tokenised cards. A digital wallet may for example be a PayPal style wallet or a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) account. Digital wallets can be topped up, so the wallet must be treated as a payee.

The feature was introduced in Version 1.15.0 of the Consumer Data Standards and consulted on via Issue 396
