Question
In our digital customer portal, the customer links their list of accounts manually. Hence the portal may not show all the customer accounts, and it may show accounts for which the customer does not have sharing rights.
Should we align the CDR account list with our digital portal's account list to align with our existing digital experience, or display the actual list of accounts the customer owns?
Answer
A DH is permitted to display an account from which data cannot be shared. For example, a DH can display an account forwhich the consumer is not an account holder, secondary user, or nominated representative. This may provide a more consistent experience with a non-CDR digital customer portal. If the account is 'unavailable and/or ineligible', or the customer does not have sharing rights for other reasons, then it cannot be selected for sharing.
