The ACCC has granted several exemptions from consumer data sharing obligations. Details of these exemptions can be found on the Exemption Register.

On 1 November 2023, consumer data sharing obligations will commence for retailers who had at least 10,000 small customers on 16 November 2021.

The table below lists all data holders who met this criteria. Three initial retailers who are already active in the system are also included for reference. This table is provided to inform stakeholders of potential data availability. The CDR Register and CDR Find a Provider page are the definitive source for data holders who are active for consumer data sharing. Stakeholders should also check the CDR Rectification Schedules for updates regarding the availability of data.

We note that the ACCC has also granted several exemptions from consumer data sharing obligations, pursuant to section 56GD of the Competition and Consumer Act (2010). Details of these exemptions can be found on the Exemption Register. We note that further exemptions may be granted in response to applications from data holders.
