Joint Account Guidance

The ABA, along with some of its members, recently presented the ACCC with some joint account scenarios. These scenarios highlight some joint account implementation and functionality complexity under the current rules and the data standards that apply from November. The ACCC considers the scenarios and responses are helpful guidance for all data holders and accredited data recipients, and with the permission of the ABA, is making the document available through the Data Holder Working Group.
