Clarification of a Payee

Question

What constitutes the definition of a Payee? 

In the context of the Consumer Data Standards, there is not a clear definition of a Payee, as the displayed here: GET Payees.

Answer

The general rule of thumb in cases of ambiguity of this nature is to align the Consumer Data Right data with the data presented in existing digital channels.  If the customer cannot see these payees in internet banking then presumably they would not be registered payees by the customer.  Under this assumption it would be valid to leave them out.
