Completing the on-boarding process will depend on the readiness of the participant as well as the maturity of their software solution. Accurate and complete information supplied during the process, as well as prompt acceptance of the required agreements, also contribute to the time taken to on-board.
It is expected that, by the time a participant is ready to on-board, they have undertaken their own internal quality assurance of their software solution to ensure that it is capable of complying with the requirements in the Consumer Data Right Rules and Standards.
When preparing for conformance testing, participants may need to undertake various changes to their technical environment (such as IP address whitelisting and certificate configuration) to enable communication between the Consumer Data Right Conformance Test Suite and the participant’s test IT environment. The time participants take to make these changes also contributes to overall on-boarding timeframes, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve issues that may occur during testing activities.
A proposed timeframe is outlined in the table below. This information is a guide only, as the ability for each participant to move through each step of the process is variable and dependent on their own internal procedures and practices.
