Question
Product eligibility types appear to be exclusive. For example:
-
BUSINESS
: Only a business may apply for the account. -
NATURAL_PERSON
: The customer must be a natural person rather than another legal entity. -
PENSION_RECIPIENT
: Only a recipient of a government pension may apply for the product.
Note: The description for PENSION_RECIPIENT
is different to the description in the current standard. The description will be changed to the above in a future version.
Should a product available to a natural person and a business have no eligibility types or both?
If a product does not have a NATURAL_PERSON
eligibility type, does that mean it is available to legal entities including businesses?
Answer
A product available to both BUSINESS
and NATURAL_PERSON
has neither eligibilityType
.
If a product does not have a NATURAL_PERSON
eligibilityType
, it is not constrained to natural persons and is available to legal entities including businesses.
