The November 2020 obligations Conformance Test Suite (CTS) will be available from 1 October 2020. The CTS is a key part of the Consumer Data Right on-boarding process for accredited data recipients and data holders (also known as Consumer Data Right participants).
Getting ready for conformance testing
Before you can use the CTS, you need a production-ready accredited data recipient software product or data holder brand, built following the Consumer Data Standards and Consumer Data Right Register Design.
What is tested for accredited data recipients?
The CTS will test that the accredited data recipient can:
- call the Consumer Data Right register
- initiate dynamic client registration
- initiate one off consent
- request consent for once off data sharing request
- request consent for data sharing request with duration
- initiate concurrent consent
- initiate Push Authorization Request (PAR)
- initiate calls to banking APIs
- get accounts
- get transactions
- initiate withdrawal of consent and notify a DH
- receive withdrawal of consent notifications from a DH
What is tested for data holders?
The CTS will test that the data holder brand can:
- call the Consumer Data Right Register
- facilitate dynamic client registration
- facilitate concurrent consent
- facilitate PAR
- initiate withdrawal of consent and notify an accredited data recipient
- receive withdrawal of consent notifications from an accredited data recipient.
Further details regarding CTS for data holders will be published when non-major ADIs can commence the on-boarding process. ACCC is working through CTS conformance testing with existing Consumer Data Right data holders.
Next steps
From 1 October 2020, data holders (i.e. only major ADIs at this stage) and accredited data recipients can undertake conformance testing. The testing will be held against the November obligations of the Consumer Data Standards and the Consumer Data Right Register design.
