Question

Is there any concern or reason not to launch Consumer Data Right Product Endpoints for all 3 product phases at the one time (as a Data Holder) by July 2021 (and including joint accounts, closed accounts etc), rather than staggering as per the phasing table? I.e. any gaps or guidelines that won't yet be defined or are to be changed specifically for phase 2, 3 products, or can we rely on the Consumer Data Standards and Consumer Experience Guidelines being relevant for all product types?

Answer

The standards are complete and the four major banks are already building to the full scope for November 2020 and January 2021.  We encourage deployment ahead of the ACCC schedule but that is a decision that each Data Holder will have to answer for themselves.
