The DSB proposes the following convention:

Data Recipients and Data Holders MAY present their logo URIs with a Christmas hat from the 1st December - 28th December. If participants present a logo URI with a Christmas hat, they SHOULD show it on the right hand side of the logo at a 15 degree angle.
