Question
As an ADI scheduled to commence data sharing in July 2021 we will potentially have to create a mock CDR Register and ADR in order to test our Data Holder solution. Is there any guidance on how to do this and are other banks sharing information on how they handle this?
Answer
The ACCC has developed a Conformance Test Suite that includes a CTS Register and a CTS Accredited Data Recipient (see slide 2 of the Conformance Test Suite Update presentation). The CTS is made available to ADIs during the on-boarding process. The ACCC is requesting ADIs interested in commencing the on-boarding process to get in touch with us by emailing CDRTechnicalOperations@accc.gov.au. To commence the on-boarding process your organisation, or Legal Entity, must have requested access to the CDR Participant Portal (see user guide for assistance). The on-boarding process is described in the On-boarding Guide.
The ACCC understands open source options for mock participants exist, although we’re are unable to provide details, which may assist with conducting tests outside of the CTS. The ACCC is not aware of the approach other ADIs are taking, however we believe there is significant benefit in community-lead discussion on this. We encourage use of the Community option available in the Consumer Data Right Support Portal to generate interest.
The ACCC has published Test Scenarios that may also assist with testing DH solutions:

Hi Elizabeth
we're finding it hard to test and validate our full solution with the CTS only testing a small component. Do you mind sharing if you have made any progress with this in lead up to July?
Apologies for the delay in responding to your comment. There has been no change to ACCCs guidance on ADIs approach to testing.
Regards,
Elizabeth
