Question

Can you please confirm the following statements regarding ID Permanence at ADR endpoints:

• ADRs and third party apps do not have visibility of the actual Identifier value and have information only about the reference identifiers.
• ADRs store the reference identifiers and this information is used in the API calls to get CDR data from the Data Holder.
• These reference identifiers have no meaning to consumers and should not be displayed.

Answer

We can confirm that these statements are correct.  The caveat is that occasionally the ADRs have the real identifiers but only if the appropriate scopes dictate this. For instance, accountId is not the real identifier for an account but the account detail payload does include real account number and BSB as payload fields.
