Question
Is there an example CSR so I know what to create?
Answer
In order to be provided with a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate for the environment you will test in, you are asked to generate a CSR. The CSR is then used by the ACCC in the PKI certificate creation process, and allows the participant to keep their private key confidential.
- The certificate management section of the Register design provides details regarding the certificate appropriate to the participant’s organisation
- Step 4 in the On-boarding Guide provides a list of the required fields for the CSR
- DigiCert, as the certificate authority, also provides some guidance on CSR creation and CSR checks
