Do non-financial service providers need to be members of Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) in order to be accredited?
Answer
Yes. AFCA is the recognised external dispute resolution scheme for the banking sector. Applicants for accreditation must be members of AFCA. AFCA will receive applications for membership from non-financial service providers.
