Multiple ANZSIC Codes

Question

For some clients we have multiple ANZSIC codes if we determine they operate in different fields; for example to quantify risk.

Should we include the data in the payload only where we have a single code and leave the field blank if multiple codes are assigned?

Answer

The payload only accepts a single ANZSIC code. Similarly occupationCode allows for only one ANZSCO code. In the situation where a DH holds more than one industry code for the organisation, the DH can choose one of the codes held. If this is not feasible, then the field should be omitted.

If DHs or ADRs see utility in allowing multiple codes to be returned, we'd suggest raising a change request to update the standards to accept an array of codes.
