Noting Papers describe the DSB perspective, actions and procedures related to a particular topic. While feedback is welcome, a Noting Paper is not part of a formal consultation. Formal consultation takes place through Decision Proposal documents.
Noting Papers are published as issues in the CDS standards repository: https://github.com/ConsumerDataStandardsAustralia/standards/
To find noting paper issues, open the standards repository issues tab and search for "Noting Paper".
The Noting Paper is provided as an attachment to the issue.
To respond to a Noting Paper, post a comment on the corresponding GitHub issue.
The Noting Paper issue specifies a date on which feedback closes. This date does not indicate that feedback posted after the closing date is ignored. Feedback can be posted at any time.
To refer to a Noting Paper, use the Noting Paper ID number in the title. This is the same as the GitHub issue number.
