CommonPAFAddress enumerated values

Question

There are three fields under the  CommonPAFAddress schema that refer to an enumeration defined by the Australia Post PAF Code File:

• streetType
• streetSuffix
• postalDeliveryType

Can you confirm that 'Australia Post PAF Code file' refers to the Australia Post Data Guide?

For these fields, is the valid value the full name in the Australia Post Data Guide, or the abbreviation? For example, is 'Street type' or 'Abbreviation' expected, or are both forms valid?

That is, if the street address ends with 'Court', are both "Court" and "CT" considered valid response values for streetType? See page 37 of the Australia Post Data Guide.

Are 'Parade' and 'PDE' valid for a street address that ends in 'Parade'?

In the CommonPAFAddress field descriptions, 'Australia Post PAF Code file' refers to the Australia Post Data Guide.

For the fields you list, the standards refer to the enumeration, not the display value.  The valid value is the abbreviation.  In your examples for 'Court' and 'Parade', the valid values are 'CT' and 'PDE' respectively.
