Question
Do I need to undertake conformance testing prior to joining the ecosystem?
Answer
Yes. Executing tests in the Conformance Test Suite (CTS) is an important part of the Consumer Data Right (CDR) on-boarding process. It plays a key role in ensuring CDR works as intended for consumers. The CTS enables testing to take place in a secure environment without exposing consumer data or interacting with live participants (ADR software products and DH brands). As such, interactions with the CTS are expected to occur with the participant’s solution in an environment which represents a similar configuration and infrastructure setup to their future production environment for the ecosystem.
Participants must successfully complete conformance testing before they can be made active on the Register.
Please refer to the CDR On-boarding Guide for a complete overview of the on-boarding process and steps required before a participant can commence CTS conformance testing.

Can I please clarify the statement ACCC Team OLD
Does this mean that the Conformance Testing Environment is mandated to be publicly accessible (open to internet).
Jaspreet, the CTS is accessible via the internet but it is not publicly available as certificates are required. DH or ADR systems subject to conformance can be behind firewalls which may require white listing before test execution can commence. Refer to Step 6 in the CDR On-boarding Guide linked in the original FAQ above. Elizabeth
