Question
Does a Data Holder need to undertake any Conformance tool testing and obtain sign-off prior to implementing the Product Reference Data endpoints?
Answer
No. The ACCC conformance test suite is only available as part of onboarding prior to consumer data sharing obligations. It's highly recommended data holders perform sufficient functional testing to be comfortable they are compliant with the rules and technical standards.
Question
When the Product Reference Data endpoints are implemented does the data holder have to support the following endpoints?
- Get Status
- Get Outage
- Get Metrics
Answer
No. These are only required as part of consumer-data sharing obligations. That said, it isn't a bad idea to publish Get Status and Get Outage APIs prior to this as it reduces the number of changes pushed to production when consumer data sharing obligations are due.
Question
Alternatively, are the above requirements only applicable to and commence from the Consumer Data sharing obligations?
Answer
Yes. That is correct.
