Question
How do we submit reporting forms?
Answer
Rule 9.4 reports can now be completed and lodged on the Participant Portal so that Accredited Data Recipients and Data Holders can meet their reporting obligations under rule 9.4 of the Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 (Cth). The Participant Portal User Guide contains further information about submitting the new version of the rule 9.4 reporting forms and it is available here: https://www.cdr.gov.au/resources/user-guides/cdr-participant-portal-user-guide

As per comment on https://cdr-support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004056275?page=1#comment_4403667404559 the only method of submitting reports seems to be an online Portal submission. Are Holders to assume this is automatically sent to the OAIC? If not, what format is to be sent to OAIC and where do holders download the latest template?
Hi Stuart
Thanks for your query.
The report is automatically sent to the OAIC once submitted through the CDR Participant Portal.

Chad Batshon which would make this guidance completely wrong.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention Stuart, this has now been rectified.
Chad Batshon ok, so now the new guidance is different to the guidance in https://cdr-support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004056275?page=1#comment_4403667404559 which links to https://www.accc.gov.au/focus-areas/consumer-data-right-cdr-0/reporting-forms-rule-94 which itself refers back to this Zendesk and a different document here: https://www.accc.gov.au/focus-areas/consumer-data-right-cdr-0/compliance-guidance-for-data-holders-in-the-banking-sector
