Question
An accredited data recipient (ADR) is required to keep and maintain records that record and explain ‘the use of Consumer Data Right (CDR) data’ by the ADR.
What does ‘the use of CDR data’ mean?
Answer
We expect ADRs will maintain records that explain what they did with the collected CDR data. For example, the following wording could be used as a guide for an ADR that provides a comparison service to its consumers: 'ADR X collected and analysed the bank account data of a CDR consumer to provide financial comparison services to the CDR consumer.'
